We work hard to bring you quality fruits and vegetables at competitive prices.

At Bello Vino we "Think Local First" and our staff strives to select only the freshest organic and eco grown products from as many of the finest local sources as possible.

Fifty percent of our produce is grown within 60 miles of the store, and nearly 70 percent of our fruits and vegetables are grown in Michigan, Ohio, or Ontario.

Bello Vino Marketplace operates a 100-acre farm located less than five miles from our store, growing over 35 heirloom varieties of fruits and vegetables. The farm's huge greenhouses allow us to provide some of the same great vegetables year-round.

Bello Vino has also formed a partnership with the Amish and Mennonite community of Homer, Michigan. By supporting local agriculture, we protect the unique character of our market and ensure that Bello Vino remains well above the competition in freshness, taste, and overall quality.

Did you know? The Amish and Mennonite farming community of Homer, Michigan uses small horse-drawn farm equipment that is non-polluting (no hydrogen emissions) and does not consume scarce fossil fuels. Natural old-fashioned farming methods like these produce high-quality agricultural products suitable for premium markets like ours. In turn, we help keep small family farming in our region strong.
